Sorry, but I'll have to leave the DD (due diligence) on things such as fundamentals and which trade ideas issue a K-1, up to you guys as there just aren't enough hours in the day to dig into the details of each trade idea. I concentrate my efforts into finding the next trading opps in various sectors, asset classes, individual stocks, etc. & then focus on analyzing the charts (technicals) and sharing what stands out. Yahoo Finance is a good source for news, fundamentals and other details on just about any stock. I'll usually get there by a quick web search by typing in the ticker symbol followed by 'yahoo" such as: "glop yahoo" and the first result will usually take me there. You can also check a companies website to see if they issue a K-1 as there is usually an "Investor Relations" or similar link at the footer of the website or somewhere in the main menu.

I did look at quite a few components of IYR (REIT ETF) recently & didn't see many that stood out as compelling longs although the setup on MAC is compelling although we need to get a decent buy signal to trigger an objective entry. If I come across any more, I'll let you know.

I'd like very much to find some attractive Gr & Inc trade ideas so I'll definitely take a look at those names you mentioned above plus any other MLP's that you or anyone else has on their radar. I'm going to start building a watch-list of MLPs today & will post some of the standouts although I'd also like to see some half-decent evidence of stabilization or a reversal/bottom in the sector before stepping in front of that falling bus.

The subsequent price performance of /NG following comparable levels of open interest has varied quite a bit so I wouldn't put a very heavy weighting on it.

I'm showing OI on /NG at 1.53m. Over the past 5 yrs, it first hit that level in May 2017 when nat gas was in a downtrend yet it continue to fall sharply from there in the coming months. OI reached that level again in mid-Dec '17 & was immediately followed by not just a very sharp rally but also a trend reversal (end of 1+ year bear market, start of new 1 yr bull run).

OI once again climbed to current levels at the end May of '18 with little impact on NG prices although NG had a relatively minor corrected somewhat later. OI also steadily climbed from that 1.53ish high level in late May, rising to 1.67m by early Oct '18 with nat mostly rising & then going near-vertical after OI peaked and fell sharply for a while until NG finally topped & started the bear market that is still as of now.

This high OI could end up marking a bottom in NG & at the very least, an oversold rally is likely coming soon. However, there aren't enough data points with consistent performance stats to say this is a level in OI that has a high probability of triggering a major rally soon but I think it does add to that case to a certain degree. Thx for pointing that out.

Randy - thank you for posting these growth and income trades - MAC and the MLPs...some (many?) of us looking for div income…preferably L.T. Bought GLOP last week - about 4 hours too early. Yikes. That really hurt. Although it is looking interesting now. AMZA (ugly chart) is an ETF that trades these (unsuccessfully to this point) My question is what about MLP CEFs? They are a way of avoiding the dreaded K-1. JMF, AMLP, etc. With the entire market so overbought (imho) I wonder if this sector is leading everything down or is it sector capitulation.
