I 1000% agree! My only reason for shorting is because of the stark similarities of this rate cut cycle to that of 2007.

First rate cut rallied for a month from Sept 18 into the second rate cut on Oct 31, marking the absolute top in the /NQ.

If there's any chance history repeats itself, we may very well see the absolute top soon.

If not, I'll close my shorts and sit on my hands until any pullback happens.

Short now with QQQ finally breaking out of 4 months of consolidation? I get the idea of waiting for a pullback to buy, but shorting into a strong and confirming uptrend seems a little Reckless Randy to me.

It was a month or more ago when I was saying there's no reason to short and to keep calling these divergences is crazy. I kept calling for buying any dips because nothing had broken down and we already had sharp drops prior to the election, so the probability of another the day of, along with the likely winner made no sense.

Only now am I no longer bullish, rather very cautious to the upside. I closed all my longs on the big move up yesterday and am slowly scaling into shorts.

Things now do seem off. We may very well be in a melt up, with another 5% to go from here. If so I'm wrong and I'll get out, but I'm not going to hold for several weeks to month and go on massive divergences. I'd Miss every rally if I was worried about divergences on the daily.

Yep, my comments warning subscribers and newbies were also removed and labeled as being a troll. I've been warning people since March of the perma bear horrible calls by randy. I labeled him revisionist Randy cause if you listen to his videos he's made every top and bottom call perfectly. After he removed our comments he went on a private video rampage for over a month. So I'm sure our "trolling" comments will be removed this time as well.

Sorry, about that experience. I'm not a perma bears, far far from it. I've been very critical of the calls on this site in the past (labeled a troll) and removed.

My last comment that was deleted was a warning to not fear another spike up this past month, but to buy the dip! I was long into elections and took great profits on IWM and TSLA longs, with an acceptable loss in CPER.

My comment is not to be bearish and short now, rather to take profits if people were long, especially when the R:R is not longer favorable.

For example, my IWM calls debit spread trade was a 1:4 risk reward before the move. At the open it was a 1:1. To me, the risk no longer outweighed the reward.

A short now would be speculative into the rate cut tomorrow. Ideally, shorts are entered when support gives and we are trading with the moving averages stacked negatively.

> one slip up and we’ll be down to 5-10% by the end of November

Apologies if my comment comes off a little salty, but: keep sprinkling that hopium to keep the perma bear mindset hooked on the market crash short play.

I opened QQQ swing shorts starting August 12th @ $451.17. The daily was a red doji that closed a stone throw away from resistance.

After smoking hopium from my crack pipe, I added to the QQQ shorts @ August 13 $459.68 because the price gaped above August 12th horizontal resistance, but closed at another major horizontal resistance.

Then the price skyrocketed another 4.93% by August 22 at which point I added to the short again at $477.54. The market crash bearish hopium was back in stock that day after almost 10 days of it being out of stock everywhere.

Then finally the QQQ price action crashed 7.50% back to my original entry price of $451.17. Since I added to the short a couple times I was up maybe $400-800.

I did not take any profit, because the hopium was strong. I thought surely QQQ and the broader markets were going to start crashing now. I thought to myself, surely after a 7.50% fall the blood in the streets are coming.

QQQ ripped up another 5.48%. Perfect, a dead cat bounce. Daily price action is closing at major resistance. We got them bulls, they are going to the slaughterhouse now. I added to my short again at September 12 @ $472.22.

The price has since ripped up, going 6.68% and yet again new all time highs.

I thought the bulls were going to the slaughterhouse September 13th. Little did I know, they sent me to the slaughterhouse instead.

Best thing I ever did for my financial health (after taking a $300k account down to $0) was getting myself off of this site and steering clear of all perma-bear rhetoric. There is no way Randy can actually have all of his money and family's money in these trades. He'd be wiped out. Most likely, if he does actually make the trades he advertises on the site, he is doing so in a smaller, short-term trading account, while the bulk of his money is invested in a more prudent fashion (in retirement accounts that hold long-only positions in stocks, bonds, real estate, etc.).

Hard to follow individual stonk plays when he gets indices price moves so so wrong. He called March of 23 a 10 outta 10 shorting opp, gone completely vertical since. He's been calling for a top since March of this year, that didn't work so he created a market top box so even if his shorting calls go wrong he can say it's within his expected topping range.

Learn from his awful short entries, and never do the same in your own trading. Whether that be his scaling in at price points without rejections on both the vertical rallies in August or his entries this week. You don't just short price points and hope and pray they work. You need to see actual rejections of pride at resistance.

Hate to be one of those people now, but I'm getting tired of being short and on the wrong side of the trade. That's been my track record for a couple years now, largely following Randy's trade ideas (most indexes, not individual stocks, perhaps THAT'S the problem????).

My QQQ short is down $4k since August 12th. I've held on to my QQQ short, like an idiot I suppose -- since August 12 when it was at $450.

Why haven't I closed it? Because in almost every video Randy sprinkles hopium here and there. "Divergences are forming like this, it could go down but it could go up, no one knows, but i'm hanging tight on my shorts". New ATH comes and then it's "divergences are still there".

The trend I started noticing (other than my stock account going from $100k down to $38k over 2 years time) is the "perma bull" commenters have called out more trade ideas in your video comments that turned out to be the right side of the trade.

Even though I am already down $4k on yet another short and a QQQ short at that. I will at least be consistent about it and wait until these divergences are taken out before I stop myself out.

I hope everyone survived the tumultuous October trading and is feeling ok with the risk on their individual trades.

While today was a fantastic green day for bulls, don't forget we have the fed rate decision tomorrow at the close. We could keep pushing higher, but one slip up and we'll be down to 5-10% by the end of November.

Don't fight the trend, but know when the music is over and take profits when your risk outweighs the reward!

Your calls have been paying nicely, can't beat a market that never goes down. 1 red monthly candle in 15 months hahaha

Would it be possible on the swing? Trade ideas establish whether it's a short or long on the chart. For instance, you list both microsoft and apple as october thirty first . Adding the word, long or short after the idea would certainly be helpful. Thanks
