Neither that DL 1 or DL 2 are divergent lows. To have a divergent low (positive divergence) you need to have prices making a lower low (or at the very least, an equal low) with the indicators making higher lows at the same points. Both of those 2nd <abbr class='c2c-text-hover' title='1) A bounce/pullback off support/resistance and/or a temporary consolidation around that level following a well-established trend leading up to that point. 2) A reaction low or high is a distinct point where the price of a security changed direction.'>reaction</abbr> lows on the example you posted above were higher lows.

Do you mean on SPY? There was the potential for an Island Top with Friday's gap up & even with today's gap down but with SPY rallying since the open & almost backfilling the gap so far, we don't have the ideal confirming signal (a solid gap down & subsequent move lower to put in the "Island" candlestick).

Exactly. That's why there isn't a vaccine for SARS-1 after 20-years... it became a non-issue & hence, the incentive ($$) for companies to develop a vaccine dried up. Coronavirus (officially known as SARS-CoV-2) is much more stealthy/contagious & widespread that SARS-1 & unlikely to go away anytime soon.

SPY is probably down, in part, due to crude. When the energy sector is plunging, it's sort of a wake up call. So goes energy, so goes the overall economy.

Interesting battle so far between bulls and bears in futures. I would have expected a +250pts on /YM with the new stimulus bill ready to be approved in the next few days. Maybe, just maybe everything is already priced into this rally and its sell the news type of crowd. (Insert emoji with man shrugging shoulders)

It may happen sooner then you think! Better then 50% of the people laid off are making more then when they worked! Most will be slow to return thus the numbers will start lagging below expectations ... a sure sign this Bull bounce ends!
