My friend’s uber driver mentioned about black monday incoming…I took heavy longs overnight based on these 2 things alone and it paid… Fear was at its peak last night

If you havent traded options, I would say dont touch it in this volatility…
If you have experience, IV is super high, premiums will get sucked out even if trend goes in your direction…
Best to sell put spreads against calls if you are bullish, sell call spreads against puts if you are bearish , and you are entering now…
If you have a better entry like shorted via puts before the crazy down move, with still time on your expirations, then all good, you dont have to worry about IV etc coz now its in your favor…
On top of this if the targets are not hit and you think it would, you have to keep rolling over expirations, thats a different ball game which needs quite significant active trade management…
Deep in the money strikes have lower IV theta impact that OTM…so choose wisely… ATB…:)

Did he really call for a Black Monday crash? lol. That guy is the biggest tool on CNBS. With that being said, can’t rule out a crash just yet as the lower AND faster the market drops from here, the greater the chance of something “breaking” that causes a domino effect in the financial system and/or stock market.

My guess is Powell is too proud to step in with an emergency (inter-meeting) rate cut at the risk of looking like one of Trump’s minions & caving to his will. Without the Trump or Powell put, the risk of a crash, should the market keep falling, remains real although as of now, I still favor a bounce this week but staying very nimble & open to all possibilities & decent probabilities.

The tariffs will get resolved in some form or another, probably sooner than later but hard to say exactly when. Long-term charts of the grains still appear constructive IMO although (as I commented on in at least one video in the past couple of weeks), the grains have been dead-ish money trades recently, just grinding around so better fish to fry elsewhere lately.

I continue to monitor them actively & will update them in a video asap. Just been focusing mostly on the markets due to the extreme price movements & profit potential lately.
