Anyone like me waiting for a big pullback in the market may have to wait for a long while. Here's a chart that shows that the biggest part of the decline in bear markets don't happen until after the FED pivots... and looks like that ain't gonna happen until later next year at the earliest.

Check out the chart.....

A little solace for any bears out there...

There was a bearish engulfing candle on the S&P yesterday. Didn't work out too well for the bears. But, there was a huge bearish engulfing candle on the S&P on July 27 earlier this year and the market went up the following 2 days before the 10+% downturn hit.

Anyone interested in bullish/bearish sentiment indicators...the AAII investor sentiment survey had a huge surge this week.....

Bullish sentiment increased 18.3 percentage points from 24.3% to 42.6%.
Bearish sentiment decreased 23.1 percentage points from 50.3% to 27.2%.

This week’s increase was the largest since July 15, 2010 (an 18.4-percentage-point jump), and the 23rd largest week-over-week increase in bullish sentiment in the survey’s history.

The 1 year return of the S&P from July 15, 2010 to July 15, 2021 was 20%. (That was one year after the end of the 2007-2009 bear market...just like this weeks reading is one year after the 2022 bear market)

See all the stats at : https://www.aaii.com/sentimentsurvey

And don't forget....November and December have been the best months for the stock market since 1950.
