next sell signal on GDX to come on a break below this uptrend line & the intersecting 105.50ish support, assuming a case can be made to short gold and silver, at that time. Gold & silver are still digesting the recent crash & my confidence on an imminent big drop in the stock market is higher than my near-term outlook on the PM’s, which could either catch a flight-to-safety bid —OR– get caught up in a broad-based, margin call sell-off (the latter more likely IMO).

Still plenty of meat left on the bone for the CVNA active short trade so any bounces back to resistance, such as the 200-day MA’s or price resistance will offer an objective add-on or re-entry, for those that booked profits at T2.

I highlighted XLE as a short setup earlier this week (XOM is basically XLE at the largest component, making up a quarter, 24.15%, of XLE). This link will start at the point in the video where I covered XLE. Replicate that uptrend line/price channel that I showed on the 60m chart & when that breaks, XOM or XLE will offer an objective short entry. XOM price target around 125 or 49 on XLE.
