Randy,
Stock market dropped the last 3 times when USO hits around $ 83.
USO also dropped when it hits that level.
Would it be a good hedge to short USO and short the market at the same time....
you might win both ways and highly unlikely they'll both go up?

LOL... No, I had to create a custom pair of dual charts that would fit into the area of one of my regular charts for the screen recording. On the dry run, I had QQQ up top & USO on the bottom but that must have switched to USO/USO when I recorded the video. I just got back from Miami so will either post the charts (screenshot) or cover in a video tmrw. Thx for pointing that out.

Randy, were you aware that your bottom panel was also USO? Seemed like you were using your "zones" analysis to illustrate their relation to the equity market... I.e., it seemed that you were thinking you had, say, SPX, in the bottom while explaining the perfect track record of your zones relative to equities... ??

Congrats on the nice exit! I really like setting those OCO orders to fill my profit-taking orders in the regular + outside regular trading session (pre-mkt & AH) while leaving the stop loss orders to only fill in the regular session.

Helps to take advantage of those big spikes that often occur in the low-volume pre & post-market sessions, yet for the same reason, helps to avoid having a stop-loss order clipped in one of those off-hour spikes.

Hey Randy, thanks for your insight on how to exit a losing trade. I was in DRIP and thinking it could be a bad day.

I placed a limit order at my average price early in the morning and was hit 2 minutes into the trading day. The stock jumped to my price for about 8 seconds.

Saved me 4% from today's lows.
