Randy’s shortcalls on cat just could not be better of late. I just can’t see anything positive about that chart.

I went ahead and closed out every position I had going into the weekend. I think the fed or banks or whomever??? crushes any pop in vol . today is no exception. Gave back all I gained from perfect entries on vix and qqq spreads in one day. Just not worth it anymore. Why hold over the weekend. It will take a catastrophic financial event to break this pattern of control over price. As I can’t afford to use futures and diversify I use options spreads and its 2 steps forward, 3 back, one step forward, 2 back with the vol crushes. It will be an interesting thing to watch though. good luck Randy. Maybe things will break loose but I’m not betting on it anymore.
