I had to leave town on Friday, returning late last night & wasn't able to get those charts on the PM's out until this morning but they are pretty much the same levels & developments highlighted on the recent charts of /GC, /SI & /PL with the only difference being that they all continued higher since the last updates, hitting the next targets in the overnight & early-hours trading so far. In the update I just posted on the precious metals & Treasuries (risk-off assets), I also included the 60-min chart of /ES & /NQ, both of which are at or just above pretty important support & so whether they hold & rally off those supports or break down will likely determine if the PM's continue to rally or have what I think will only be a relatively minor correction, should the stock market rally off those supports.

I don't know enough about the Fed liquidity repos to pass along any meaningful commentary although I can't possibly imagine that anyone could spin that as anything but a net negative for the financial markets.

Started scaling into short swing positions in my long-term accounts about 6-weeks ago scaling in just below & up to the top of the Aug trading range while actively the indexes (/NQ & /RTY) trading long & short (mostly longs) in my active trading account. Also mentioned on many occasions hedging the swing short positions with precious metals & Treasuries, first short (off the highs) and then long more recently, making many times in profits what the very minor losses on those index shorts as I'm not sure if you are aware but QQQ (my primary index short) is trading a whopping 4/10ths of 1% above the top of the Aug trading range where I added most of my index shorts, including that last official short trade. I think you confuse time with percentage moves on the indexes & that is one reason why I prefer trading individual stocks, ETFs & futures over options as so far, I have not been wrong on my call on where the indexes are likely headed rather they are just taking longer to get there (assuming they do) than I had expected back a couple of months ago.
