Yup, my puts got smoked. Doesn’t feel like this rally will fade either. Lots of bears just got killed.

I was pretty sure that there would be deal because so many businesses were on the verge of stopping production or laying people off.

I was too scared to take a position because the talks could have blown up.

Please remember that boats from China take 6-8 weeks to arrive. So this rally may be brief.

I was with you, but I see we were on the wrong side of the chart. That hurt, so the lesson learned was I didn’t manage my position size correctly and now I need to decide if the market will continue to move north or whipsaw and come back down to shake out as many as possible.

Supposedly there is a deal with China. Details yet to be released. I think if the tariff is under 50% the market will soar. Futures are already up 1.35% There should be a nice relief rally. SPY will open above the 200ma which is technically bullish. Soon people will understand the damage that was done by the tariffs.

501.25 is our 3 year low. I think we’d bounce there. There’s basically a divergent low now. If we break through that, the next strong resistance is 443 which was last touched in 2019.

I’ll probably be buying some WEAT this week
