Just looked & I have the same downtrend line from the Feb ’96 highs on my long-term charts of CDE. Can only say it would be bullish if the stock clearly takes it out, ideally on a weekly or even better, a solid monthly closing basis but even better if the majority of miners are also looking good at that time (i.e. – not testing or still below comparable key longer-term resistance levels).

Basically, resistance is resistance until & unless taken out & as of now, CDE has a history of rejections off that downtrend line followed by very large double-digit drops so while I think it will be taken out relatively soon, the only trade to be made here is a short (also confirmed on the daily chart following the recent uptrend line breakdown & backtest from below).

HL has a similar one but it’s 54 years long. It’s just a bit further away from breaking it.
