In reply to bransth. Both short selling and buying put options are bearish strategies. Short selling involves the sale of a security not owned by the seller but borrowed and then sold in the market. Buying a put option gives the buyer the right to sell the underlying asset at a price stated in the option.

healthweather.us is a website which collates data from the thermometers used by a particular company and then charts a map showing trends on where in US, people are getting influenza like symptoms. The impact of social distancing is pretty evident on this chart that overall the impact of COVID-19 is decreasing……so if by the end of April the situation improves considerably…..then it will provide an insight to go long.
