Totally! Randy did the same thing after the COVID low.. Kept recommending shorts. . Didn't see the new bull market begin.. We didn't even see a minor pullback..I thought sometime a minor pullback at least will come.. I'll at least break even..Well it didn't.. I was out of a pretty good sized account..Not until the election approached did we get a pull back.. Small pullback that too..I learned this v important lesson then.. only people who don't really trade keep recommending these divergence trades.. they can share zero stats as to how the strategy performs over a long period of time..in the long run sound risk management is the most important - appropriate position sizing, being objective and getting out when you're wrong with the least loss.. something never really covered on this channel.

AAPL alone is bigger than entire Russell 2000 by market cap! Its CRAZY but we can't argue bcoz their revenue and free cash is also larger than entire Russell 2000 revenue and free cash!

I am sure one day everyone will realize what happens when you keep adding to your short/long when the indexes or any securities keep making new divergent high or low.

It may play out few times but in the long run eventually everyone will blow up their account/s simply because when you add on to the existing short/long positions, the size of that trade get bigger and bigger exponentially resulting in bigger loss than anticipated!

IWM tanking, people selling everything to get into the Tech 5 stocks. Guess we'll soon have 5 stocks make up 50% of the SP500 market cap.

I still don't get it why we were shorting the Strongest sectors like QQQs and SEMIs?

If we were really wise we would have thought Russell was the best bet to Short. In the high interest rate environment, small business will have the biggest impact.

Not sure how long we all can last if we keep shorting the strongest sectors!

I don't think a short will work with so much fresh short money funneling into the stock. This is the most hated stock having the most hated rally. If anything, NVDA has now broken out and any pullback back toward the breakout level from 345-330 will likely be a massive buy.

Check out Randy's statements from yesterday - " I am early into the trade, not wrong'.. ' if am wrong I'll be wrong by a lot' ( aren't you already?).. he recommended a strong short in NQ at around the 12300 level.. It's in his posts from around mid March.. even without all the scaling into shorts that's close to 15% drawdown to today's high.. then he says he has different kinds of trades ( short term of days) to long term ' swing' trades of months.. Well.. Can he tell us what duration trades he is taking BEFORE he recommends them? His stop losses are arbitrary, his risk management parameters barely defined with constantly moving levels.. The more he talks the more am convinced of one thing - dude doesn't trade.. Not like many of his subscribers do at least.. traders who last in this business don't talk like that.. People who are interested in covering their asses do.
