I think so & posted some charts & commentary about shorting the rips in pre-market today (Monday).

Similar to my reply to @Ahmar1977 in the comment above, I prefer to stand aside most of the trades that are subject to unpredictible rips & dips based on the Russia/Ukraine situation. Russia is not only the world’s 3rd largest exporter or oil but they are also one of the largest producers of fertilizer as well as palladium with Ukraine one of the largest exporters of wheat. Too much uncertainty there so my preference, at least as of right now, is to focus on my core holdings (short equities/long gold & silver).

Nice call. I really don’t know as the macro/fundamentals are driving crude prices right now. I do know the current administration is scared *hitless of a massacre at the mid-terms in Nov & if there is one thing that US politics, especially this administration as well as the Fed, has taught me in recent years, never underestimate the extent of the extreme measures they are willing to take. Bottom line: I prefer to stay clear of crude, at least for the time being. My next trade on it will almost certainly be a short & when that time comes, I will let you know. Right now, the risk of being long or short is just too high IMO. Better fish with more favorable R/R‘s to fry.

All the better (for my gold & silver longs) as that clearly shows overwhelming demand (buying) of gold & silver is offsetting the impact of a rising Dollar/falling Euro. Gold could get an added boost if the $USD & Euro reverse trend.
