If so, I would say that strategy would have a lower probability of success (more failed than successful trades) but that would or could be offset with a much above average &lt;abbr class=&#039;c2c-text-hover&#039; title=&#039;Risk-to-Reward Ratio. e.g.- a 3:1 R/R would entail risking $1 of loss for every $3 of profit potential on the trade.&#039;&gt;R/R&lt;/abbr&gt; profile, as the gains could be huge, if indeed it proves to be a bear trap (for shorts)/stop raid (of the longs).
