This is what I was talking about in yesterday’s video about the potential for ripple effects on the broader, including US, financial markets in regards to the outright crash in Russian stocks & bonds as a result of the sanctions:

“California’s governor called on the heads of the state’s two largest pension funds and of the University of California Retirement System to divest any Russian investments, as the state joined others in the nation trying to squeeze Russia over its war in Ukraine.”

“…CalPERS and CalSTRS, the nation’s two largest public pension funds, and the UC system, have a combined $1.5 billion in Russian investments”
