One thing to consider, assuming that you’re looking at companies with exposure to coffee production & sales, is whether or not they own the coffee farms or if they buy their coffee on the open market to roast & sell. The former should benefit from rising coffee prices while the latter would be hurt by rising prices.

Those do resemble bull flag, not textbook, but close enough & an upside break on SPY so far today. Usually, when an index gets this close to new highs it will punch up through to take out that previous high. $NDX is still lagging the $SPX which the bulls will argue is simply a temporary rotation out of tech into stock & sectors that will benefit from a COVID vaccine while bear can argue that the market-leading stocks finally underperforming is a red flag for the market. Nothing wrong with trading a breakout of those flags on the long side as long as appropriate stops are used in case it proves to be a whipsaw signal. Thx for sharing.

You’re welcome. Btw, Smucker owns Folgers coffee, which is the leading coffee brand by sales in the US, double of what SBUX pulls off. So if Randy is right & coffee is going to the new highs, I think that these guys will benefit more than anyone else.
