i did't really listen to that I got long a few of the mega-caps and have been trading in and out the past several months. Randy is great at catching tops he just gets out and stays out way to early. Nothing wrong with playing it safe but usually misses a big part of the rally. He did it at the 2018 low and did it again with this one as well.. His charts are 2nd to none he is the chart master and is wonderful to learn from.Which is why I am still here..

OSTK (overstock.com) would have been a great short. TD Ameritrade didn't have any shares to borrow so I couldn't pull the trigger. Hey Randy. What I am saying is most of those charts in that video look like death. Charts that look that bad can't have good fundamentals (Energy and Ag) Bear markets. I cannot remember the last time you posted a company (in the S&P) that I've heard of in a BULL market or in a long-er term up trend with solid fundamentals (Pulled back to the 20 with + divergences forming on the hourly chart). I've been with you now for almost 2 years and very rarely have you posted anything in the S&P. You have basically been a Perma-bear on the broad markets now since Feb 2018 (After you caught the Dec 28'h low) Its hard to make money if your a bear in a bull market. That's what I am saying. Divergences can last years.BTW..I am not asking you to change your style just throw us a bone every so often (I know the risk).. Thanks!!..Tony

He may have a point if we consider this from all angles. If in the near future, people quit buying and eating food, and quit using natural gas to heat their homes and run their appliances, and simultaneously quit driving cars so as to not consume any oil, we are in for a world of hurt. Unsure what you are saying but to clarify, the only two energy-related securities covered in the video were crude & nat gas, one of which was highlighted as a potential long (nat gas) and one as a potential short (crude) with a buy signal on /NG pending a breakout above the downtrend line (which has yet to occur) and /CL pending a break below the uptrend line (an/or a partial/starter position here at resistance, but as an aggressive entry).

None of the securities (index ETFs/futures, gold, silver, nat gas, crude, currencies, and agricultural commodities) covered in the video can or ever will file for bankruptcy protection so while there is always a risk of any of those going lower, none will go to zero. Finally, hyperinflation would typically cause the prices of the metals & ag. commodities covered in this video to soar, as that is basically what inflation is (rising prices of goods and/or services).

As far as awful looking charts, here's my weekly chart of $SUGAR (sugar futures), in which I believe that a pretty solid case can be made for a major bottom that could easily prove to be the start of a 100-200% bull run in sugar in the coming months to year+. JMHO so pass on the trade ideas that don't mesh with your outlook for the security.

They cover that in the link in the post above. Here's an excerpt although I would suggest reading the full article.

Following their delisting, the ETNs will remain outstanding, though they will no longer trade on any national securities exchange. The ETNs may trade, if at all, on an over-the-counter basis. Although it is not currently accelerating the ETNs at its option, Credit Suisse AG continues to have the right to do so, as described in the pricing supplement for the ETNs (the "Pricing Supplement"), and may choose to accelerate the ETNs at its option in the future, either together on the same date or each on a separate date, including shortly after the delisting. Subject to the minimum redemption amount and other conditions, investors can continue to exercise their early redemption right with respect to the ETNs prior to, and following, the ETNs' delisting, pursuant to the terms of the ETNs as described in the Pricing Supplement. If investors wish to exercise their early redemption right, they and their broker must follow the procedures set forth in the Pricing Supplement, which can be accessed on the Securities and Exchange Commission website at www.sec.gov as follows: (see article for links)

Bottom line, those ETNs may continue to trade OTC following their delisting although the liquidity won't be the same & they may or may not continue to do a decent job of tracking their underlying index or commodity (VIX, crude oil, gold, silver, etc..) I can't think of any reason to continue to hold or enter new trades on any of those soon-to-be-delisted ETNs.
