Saw that as well although I don’t believe it was a single purchase yesterday, rather a disclosure of a position he has accumulated so he’s most likely deeply underwater on his stake & make his position public in order to pump the stock (coincidentally or not, right at my buy point/support from the other day). I’ve shared my thoughts recently: If I didn’t think the market was going much lower before it goes much higher, I’d be loaded up on NFLX. Maybe I miss out but gotta trade the charts as I see it so if my outlook for the market changes & NFLX is still an objective long, I’ll probably buy it back (I sold the position I posted taking the other day for a small loss, mainly to free up capital for active & swing trading).

Wow, that was pretty harsh considering the primary reason I follow the Euro is to try and determine when it might give the precious metals trades a headwind or tailwind. I talk about how they are typically positively correlated however, when the underlying demand for gold and silver is strong, it can offset or overwhelm the impact of a falling Euro. The PM are the trade where the money has been made, not the Euro or Dollar (although I’ve called plenty of tradeable rallies & corrections in both so forex traders can trade those, if desired). And yes, the Euro did break down below both the uptrend line & horizontal support that was recently highlighted so for those that were trading the Euro long, that trade would have been stopped out 3x over. However, long-term outlook for gold & silver still bullish IMO, despite the expected near-term weakness due to that pre & post-FOMC meeting rally in the $USD.

I’m european, so maybe I have a little more sensibility to what the ECB has been doing and I can say that whatever Powell’s degree of dovishness is, the ECB is 2 or 3 times that. So fundamentally I never saw the case for the EUR/USD.
