No patience is needed. If the stop is hit, you cut your losses. If not, the trade isn’t over. We are definitely in a bear market, but may see 300 SPY before the next leg down.

You are correct. The slopes on the RSI and PPO are positive so the price of ETF should rise

IMO if you look back at 4/17 peak on QQQ, RSI is roughly in line with it. So I wouldn’t read too much into small fluctuations on RSI. I have attached a chart from IB since I think it’s cleaner than what trading view renders. I marked the 4/17 peak and today’s level with the straight line on RSI, both look connected to me as we revisit the same level. Hope it helps.

I take divergence to mean there is a difference of angle. The angle of RSI is steeper up than the angle of price, whether I look at the peaks or the valleys

Positive divergence is when the price goes lower but RSI goes higher. RSI roughly follows the price on your charts.

I see positive divergences and an ascending triangle inside a bigger wedge, which has trend lines intact. The choppy ups and downs have looked like consolidation to me.

RSI & PPO in which time frame(s)?

I see the form of an IHS on the QQQ hourly chart with that neckline although IHS patterns are bottoming patterns that come after a prolonged downtrend. When you zoom out, that IHS formed on the big drop off the all-time highs in QQQ so that would make it a continuation pattern & not a bottoming or reversal pattern, as IHS’s are.

With that being said, if enough traders think that is a valid IHS pattern & they all go long on a breakout above the NL then maybe we get a sustained rally. Personally I wouldn’t consider that a valid IHS pattern due to where it formed, the fact that the shoulders, especially the RS, are too small relative to the head, as well as the fact that volume patterns for an IHS pattern are not confirming it as such.
