I’m thinking we’re going through a repeat of Oct 2017 – April 2018, where there was a parabolic up move, followed by a trading range of digesting, which formed a big pennant. I’m going to try to play the more short term volatility in this trading range.

Attached an hourly ES taken this AM. TBH 305 looks like *a lot* of resistance, but you know how this market is trading recently.

Yeah I watch hourly. It keeps building up. Bigger timeframes need more time to shape up.

I see that on charts up to hourly, but not on any bigger time scales. Maybe that points to a coming dead cat bounce only?

I suspect one more leg down with selling into the close today but that’s a micro-call that can go either way. I’m curious to see where the market closes today as well as the FAAMGs. Certainly, some decent sell signals in crude & the $NDX today but XLK (tech ETF) and the FAAMGs still holding above some important supports & look like they’ll be closing that way. XLK needs to solidly take out 101.79 to get some momentum going towards a correction & that’s probably not going to happen today. Tomorrow? Maybe.
