Quite often but it seems the correlation between many of the ags and the $USD is more of an “on-off” relationship. E.g.- Wheat has a fairly tight positive correlation to the $USD although there have been several periods (for a month or two) where they moved inversely to one another.
However, wheat (or WEAT) has been rising since mid-May despite a falling $USD & I take that to be bullish as if/when the $USD starts to rally, that should provide an additional tailwind for a long position on WEAT.

I just watched the first half of the video & might watch the 2nd half if/when I get the time. From what I saw, he is making a bullish (long-term) case for the $USD based on fundamentals. He acknowledges many of the bearish fundamentals arguments for the L/T outlook for the Dollar but he believes his reasoning behind the bullish argument will prevail.
I do think he makes a compelling case & I’m sure the next guy can make an equally compelling bearish case. At the end of the day, while I do factor fundamentals into my L/T analysis of a security, I give the highest weighting to the technicals which, in this case, appear bearish (long-term) for the $USD IMO.

Big positive (bullish) divergences on the LTM daily & the stock has been priced for death so coming off very oversold levels. The stock also just regained the key 1.00 level after briefly dipping below it, which is bullish. Potential gap backfill trade & it could also get rejected here at the bottom of the gap but personally, I wouldn’t short the stock based on the aforementioned developments as the R/R is not favorable & the risk to a large upside gap is too high.
