The trade I got myself into wasn't as big of a problem as the charting platform, had the chart been accurate it would have been fine and I would not have made a bad trade but the platform was telling me profit when I was actually at a loss and TD only told me that the error was theirs and that it was due to the split; but they were unwilling to reverse the trade. I'm going to get myself whole and then move over to interactive brokers or fidelity. I am also looking to spread the word if you do get into a jam TD will not be helpful and they don't care even if it is their fault.

In reply to Araleia. Thank you, I am thinking about it but both TD and I know that the cost of lawyer (even if I win) is the same as the loss. I'm at a rock in a hard place if anyone can/wants to spread the word I have screen shot the email they sent to me admitting the issue. If anyone can tell me how I'll just upload it to the blog.

Hello,
I had a major today with the TD ameritrade platform today there was a 10-1 split. When I opened my platform it showed a 52,000 gain on the day (P/L on day) it also showed a matching result on the P/L to the open. I immediately sold. Come to find out that I had made a trade on bad information. I just received an email from TD ameritrade confirming this but they refuse to refund my trade (as I traded at a loss but thought it was a gain).
Does anyone have advise?
