I went all in on SPY puts (out of money) this Jan in two accounts. I took $32k to 1.2M on the COVID crash. Sold. Then jump back in shorts on SPY and SOXSin the summer…..gave it all back. Learned two important lessons. 1) markets make zero sense most of the time. 2) listen to randy.

I was really congested & sneezing a lot for the past couple of days. Must have been allergies or a brief head cold, mostly better now. ‘Rona is mostly behind me now other than a few relatively minor flare-ups of residual inflammation here & there. Thanks though.

I’m seeing the same thing. The Shoeshine Boy rally & all the buzz of trading stocks from the Robinhood crowd seems to be reaching a crescendo. Going to be some very nice swing short opps once the tide clearly turns & maybe the turn has just started. Gotta be careful though as the 1999 final stretch of the dot.com bubble & the final run into the late 2017 parabolic top in Bitcoin has taught us that being too early on shorting a bubble can be extremely detrimental to one’s portfolio.
