Looks to me that the market is getting close to what I call the “point of recognition” (POR) which is the level where the majority of bulls/dip buyers realize that their tried-and-true dip buying strategy is no longer working. At that point, the majority that were already long and/or accumulated more long positions on the recent dips begin to experience a paradigm shift as they stop wondering “How soon it will be before my positions go back to green from red?” to “Something is wrong. When & where should I start to cut my losses?”

My guess is that the POR will come if QQQ undercuts Wednesday’s low and the buyers fail to step in at that point to run the market higher & roast those that stepped in to short that support break.
