likely +1000% on put.. -100% on call…….still a good trade….

I bought some 1DTE QQQ puts today to play the tariff news. I am reminded of the Wolf of Wallstreet quote, “Your only regret will be not buying more…” Haha just kidding but dang that was definitely the best trade I’ve made all year if this sticks.

I’ve been trying to predict where the price of gold/miners are going to go after this news. I can see it going both ways for various reasons! What are your thoughts?

Yep. So far market thought they were going to like what Trump was selling (big 1.75% rally in AH, then decided they didn’t (followed by a 5% drop). That subsequent drop took out that “lights out” 466 support on QQQ, so next up (last near-term support) is the recent low, with a cluster of stop-loss orders on longs sitting somewhat below it. Tomorrow should be interesting one way or the other & maybe some fireworks in the overnight session on the stock futures.
