Agreed. Breakouts, breakdowns, reversals off support, etc… coincide with headlines much too often to be random coincidence. What often happens is that the charts start to set up in a clearly bullish or bearish technical posture and then the catalyst for the breakout of the pattern, support, trendline, etc.. is often a news event.

Will do. The divergences on the daily, weekly & especially the monthly are still well intact for now & not in immediate jeopardy of being taken out. Ditto for the divergences on the 60-minute charts for now although those indicators are faster than the longer-term time frames & as such, would be the first to be negated or taken out.
