hey traders,
Get ready for the tariffs to start increasing prices. I just sent a letter to a customer saying that we expect to see and impact from the China tariffs within a month. We are going to pass the cost to them or stop shipping parts. I imagine there are thousands of people sending the same letters.

Even if trump were to lift the tariffs, the goods were already picked up from the dock at higher prices and someone has to pay... most likely the American consumer.

In reply to yahoo.

I definitely think so & even added to my position this morning with $VIX back to key support with the positive divergence still very much intact & even larger now on the 120m chart below.
/VIX (Feb 19th contract) still provides an objective entry (partial position) here at or just below the 16.20ish support as the positive divergences continue to build with a buy signal (full position) to come on a solid breakout above the downtrend line and/or 20.10-21.16ish resistance just above it.
/VIX is likely to let loose (explode higher) if/when /NQ & /ES break below my red support levels along with this 24.74 resistance.
Should /ES & /NQ breakout above the green resistance levels (posted yesterday along with the red support levels) instead, obvious the $VIX will suck wind although it is near the long-term support so it still appears to me that R/R is very favorable but again, as long as the stock market continues to grind around in this multi-month trading range, the $VIX isn't going very far.
