I am still holding longs on GDX after the wedge break out that was covered in your analysis several weeks ago, however as we know the breakout failed as gold price collapsed. Given that gold has the probability of rising if DX falls/EUR rises, however if the market collapses over the next week or so (which i agree with your analysis of such strong probability)…. dont the metals mining stocks (GDX) typically go down with entire ship?….regardless of positive price movements in gold?

Are you still holding long positions in GDX that were recommended in your analysis several weeks ago or have you closed them and i missed that notification?

Is there much positive potential for GDX given the potential for the market falling to T4?

Right now, all we can do is react to it, if & when it comes. As I stated in the post above, Powell speaks at 2 pm today so if he’s going to say anything that the stock and/or bond market might like, there’s a good chance it will be then. If not, the market will likely close red today & if so, the potential for a big gap down on Monday, unless something bullish happens over the weekend, would be good.

As of now, there is still very strong/large positive divergences all the way from the 10-minute charts out to the 60-minute chart of the stock indices so the slightest catalyst from Powell or somewhere else does have the potential to trigger a powerful bear market rally. Stay nimble/flexible and don’t get married to the fact that the market must do this or that.

I assume you meant /NG but just noticed that you typed /NQ. Based on the price levels you cited, sounds like NG but LMK otherwise.

Just added to my /NG short on this bounce. It was technically induced by a divergent low on the 10-min chart but the 60-min & daily time frames supercede the 10-min so I’m fading this bounce as /NG just ran into the first (and probably final) resistance level.
