5 Loss; 2 Win on Swing trading QQQ and SOXX so far since Jan 2024

Short-term (active trade) sell signals triggered. A tight stop could be set slightly above today HOD for a minimal (0.25% or less) loss, should these breakdowns prove to be whipsaws while a somewhat wider stop could be employed being that QQQ hit my “most likely” 3% max. daily gain.

Will do but as of now, volume nor price action (mainly volume) is not indicative of a buying climax. Ideally, you want to see the security (or index) accelerate in a near-vertical ascent following an already extended uptrend with volume notable increasing.

If I see that in QQQ or anything else, for that matter, I will point it out. For now, in the very near-term, I’m watching (first) to see if QQQ can print a solid close back above the Oct trendlines (or fall back down to close onto or below them). Also watching Treasuries very closely & EUR/USD as well (and crude oil, as covered in this video).
