If a stock goes to zero, that would be the maximum gain if you&#039;re long puts. You would be short the (worthless) stock from the strike paid. If you&#039;re long calls, then your calls would be worthless. Opposite for each if you are short the options.]]></description>

High inflation tomorrow = market down. Low inflation tomorrow = market rally. 

Yes, if inflation is really hot again, it would cause selling pressure. We would probably still need more catalysts to nudge us into correction mode. Many other things lurking under the surface that could push us into a correction. But if the inflation report is tame tomorrow, you better believe they will try to jack things higher.]]></description>
