We can see these divergence played out perfectly time and time again! But we can also see there are many times it does not play out.

FOMC minutes today at 2pm so a potential catalyst for your scenario. Certainly a possibility, especially with the recent breakout in the $VIX so I’m open to anything & doing my best to stay flexible & not married to any one scenario or another.

Still a decent chance of that IMO so taking (& trading) it one day at a time with a big focus on the short-term intraday charts while also keeping an eye on the daily & weekly charts (as I always do).

It would be objective to initiate or add to existing short positions on a rally into resistance, such as the downtrend line off the recent (early Feb) highs and/or decent price resistance, such as 408 on SPY & 303 on QQQ.

At this point I feel like we could see flush down on major market indices!
