Yep. Odds favored new highs in the NDX with SPX making new highs in Sept & then again more recently. Wouldn’t have been unheard of but certainly unusual to see one of those two large-cap indexes make new highs without the other. With the new high in the NDX today, we now have negative divergence on both indexes. Divergences are not a sell signal, far from it, but it does provide a better setup for a swing short if & when we do get some decent sell signals as long as the divergences are still intact at the time.
