Near impossible to bet against it until the big guys are done unloading. A lot of the upside short-covering moves this year have come during the last 90 minutes of the day IF there is a short-covering rally. Also been a lot of days where the grind lower just kept grinding lower, as big money has too much to unload and need the entire day to do it.

Perhaps the short-covering doesn’t get going until the last 90 minutes of the day, or perhaps in the overnight. In the meantime, the break of the uptrend line and losing moving average support is beginning to solidify the probability that the next leg down might be underway.
