Cool. I don't care to short SHAK especially here after a massive correction, there are better shorting opps out there. However I could certainly see a possibility of it going much lower from here. Either way, good luck!

Sounds good. I already went long earlier today & sticking with the trade unless stopped out so there's a chance that you are actually shorting (borrowing from your broker) my shares. 11.15% of float is short with a short interest ratio (days to cover) of 4.8. Just don't get married to it if we start to get a good ol' short squeeze cuz this one could pop to T2 in very short order (no pun intended).

Spikes above are common, sometimes they even gap it up only to dump it later. Common theme here among *all* stocks very much, 50dma has acted as resistance and provided great short opp. with somewhat reasonable stop above. It does not linger for too long above 50dma.

SHAK has traded thru the 50-day SMA & EMA as if they weren't even there in past years, including earlier this yr. I see a lot of traders & investors focus on the popular moving averages, assuming a particular MA will act as support or resistance on a stock but I always look at how a particular stock, sector, or index has traded off a particular MA in the past & especially, most recently. If there were a lot of reactions off the MA, then it is worth incorporating into the analysis on that particular security. If the security slices up & down thru it as if it weren't even there, I don't factor it in.
