I’ve thought the same. It is nice to get the text alert, so your phone buzzes or dings to show new trade idea. Wonder the difficulty of implementing something like that? Like today was shopping and missed the SSG trade. Just an idea if possible. If not, no problem.

@rsotc Yes, I was watching Sugar futures this morning as I had been accumulating a position into weakness over the last few days. Immediately when the Trump/Russia/KSA oil production cut news broke, sugar futures spiked. There was a small concurrent spike on SGG. However, the big spike in SGG came AFTER you posted your active long trade idea. After your post, I saw the SGG spike up, then looked at the sugar futures and did not see any move upward at all, and was confused. In fact, by that point, the futures were pulling back slightly. It seems you moved the market on this. Lol. That, or everyone who was watching sugar futures and saw the spike after the oil news jumped in thinking a breakout was underway.

Or even just a text like a “new trade idea was posted” to begin with. I like the posts and videos, personally.

Yes a brief text with levels would be great. Charts and email with post can follow and finally Videos. Difficult to view 20-30 minutes video to just get to the chart of importance to each of us…

I’m thinking that could quite possibly be the case. I’ve never seen a trade idea on a low-volume security cause a clear impact (spike) on the position unless I had posted a trade setup in advance of a breakout, with a breakout (buy signal/entry) to come on a break above a fairly obvious resistance level that many other traders elsewhere were already most likely watching & waiting for.

However, I will say that the pop in SSG also coincided with a breakout above that lower/minor downtrend line/wedge pattern on /SB so that very well could have been the entire catalyst for the pop or at least partially the catalyst for that move as SGG will follow /SB.

I can imagine this feature to take a bit but I’d love to be able to receive a text notification whenever a trading idea is posted so I can look at it right away. Like I completely missed this and a few others in the past.

Whether that was the case or not, the spike triggered a breakout on /SB above the lower/minor downtrend line with a rally to the larger downtrend line followed by the typical & expected reaction off the initial tag of that level. Other than that first buy signal (bullish), nothing has changed technically with the next buy signal still to come on a breakout above the larger downtrend line + 0.1073 resistance level.
