Anything is possible, but the way this market’s been acting for over a year, it’s going to go up no matter what the economic conditions. Corporate refinancing, record consumer debt, real inflation still going up (not the gov’t numbers), unemployment ticking up….doesn’t matter. The market is ignoring everything and going to set records next year…if not before the end of this year.
On top of that the FED and the gov’t will do anything and everything to make the economy look good with a BIG election coming up. ( They, and the media, are telling people inflation is going down and the economy is doing great, and they’re believing it)
Maybe you’ll get a little pullback or consolidation, but no big drop or bear market til 2025 at the earliest.

According to an article I read a few weeks ago, money supply has contracted faster since March of this year than in recent history! If that’s true then a possible hard landing (severe recession) is still on the table. That would be a scenario where interest rates would drop and so would stocks. I still think stagflation is more of a realistic possibility as opposed to a hard landing.
