I’m not seeing a blowoff top in the Semi’s.
SOXX up 18 days in a row, but volume has been average at best all month.
Dip buyers very orderly.
Interesting…
Last year in April SOXS hit 1021. Today…. 13.50
On the flipside, SOXS volume…through the roof last 2 days….most ever.
Everybody trying to catch the falling knife.

IMHO semi share prices will peak in late 2026 or early 2027. But there will be corrections along the way, the biggest maybe 15-30% (for SOXX). So it sort of depends on one’s timeframe. For context, I’ve been trading MU, STX, WDC, AMAT, and LRCX for the past year.

Didn’t really think a qqq short made sense when the semis were not ready to come down. This kind of confirms it was not the right time to short the markets. It could be close though, I do agree in a short once the semis show weakness

Randy, could you please look at CMCSA. big gap up yesterday on much better earnings but down 10% today on a competitors poor earnings report. I think there is an opportunity here.

Randy, I keep watching SOXX just march up day after day. Every single little dip gets bought, even on 5 minute charts. I keep wondering WHO is buying at these levels? Do you think this is more retail or institutional buying? Or just algos? Is there any way to tell? It’s just hard to imagine that much buying in such an overextended market. It almost seems manipulated.

In reply to Dkpdkp. Glad you asked.... lots to highlight on IWM. I've included my weekly, daily, & 60-minute charts below with annotations & key levels/developments to watch for. Most importantly, IWM just broke the well-defined near-term uptrend line off the lows (which was the hit & reversal of T3 on my daily chart with positive/bullish divergences in place at the time. Watching that near-term support zone on the 60m chart for the next potential sell signal. BTW- Lots of key sectors (like SOXX & XSD covered in today's video) as well as QQQ & SPY with similar, well-defined uptrend lines off the recent lows; some of which broke in the last day or two, others sitting right on those near-term uptrend lines now with 60m divergences & overbought conditions. As such, breakdowns below the remaining indices & sectors that are still holding above appear likely to come next week, especially is the semis breakdown.
