Here are the levels on QQQ: https://rightsideofthechart.com/stock-market-poised-for-3-rally/

Keep in mind that we popped 217.50 immediately following the open but so far, they post-opening rally has been partially faded. At the risk of oversimplifying things, a break above the post-opening spike high of 219.74 on QQQ anytime from this point (10:03 am EST) "should" open the door to those upside bounce targets. G-luck!

<abbr class='c2c-text-hover' title='You're welcome'>YW</abbr> & glad to hear that you're have a great week. The big & quick gains for active traders usually come when the $VIX spikes as volatility is an active trader's best friend. Best of luck going forward & if I could give one piece of unsolicited advice, that would be to know when to pull back on the reins.

In the past, some of my biggest drawdown/give-back periods have come directly on the heels of my biggest winning streaks. I like to trade aggressively & with large position sizes when the market is conducive to trading & I'm trading "in the groove" but I try to recognize as early as possible when that easy money isn't so easy any more.

After big moves in the market, it will often consolidate or chop around somewhat aimlessly without responding as well to the technicals. That's when I pull back on my index trades & either sit on my hands or focus on other asset classes or individual stocks that are more conducive to trading and/or have clearly bullish or bearish technical postures/patterns. Again, best of luck going forward!

Managed to close NQ shorts nicely on 8720... out and flip long just above 3100 ES.. Purple line resistance turned support.... hoping for a backtest of ascending triangle (red) to reverse back short just shy 3200 or perhaps 9100.

Wouldn't have been able to do this without the many hours of tuition from you Randy. Been my best week by a long shot. It has required intense patience and short nights of sleep!
Also shorting Crude oil after the rally to your bounce target although I didn't take the long.

Many thanks Mr Phinney.

5-min 200 MA just below 9000 with resistance of the downward trendline (of the previous lower highs) and ceiling around 9041. What is your long entry point if /NQ breaks out above 8942? If 8942 ceiling holds, do you wait to start a long entry until ~8660?
