Glad to. Nice looking long-term (weekly) chart of ALB. The annotations (big divergent highs & lows followed by the major trends in recent years) pretty much say it all. Arrow breaks denote key resistance levels/price targets.

That’s a tough one for me. On one hand, URA just broke out above key resistance to a new multi-year high (bullish). On the other hand, as of now, the negative divergence that was in place at the previous high back in Oct of last year (which was followed by a 43% bear market & a 44% bear market on the previous DH before off the same level back in late 2021) is still intact & now larger, thereby setting up for a potentially even larger drop, should this recent breakout solidly fail with a move well back below 31 or so.

URA very overbought so one could go on a pullback to support/backtest of the 31-32 breakout (or slightly below, as backtests often briefly undercut the breakout level) with stops somewhat below that. Here’s my weekly chart of URA.

The charts are the charts. If REMX makes a solid breakout above that downtrend line that would be an objective buy signal. While I sometimes invest long-term funds into positions based on fundamentals, I never trade around news headlines, actual or anticipated (i.e.- maybe this or that might happen), rather only the technicals (charts).

Also, keep in mind that the charts typically reflect the fact that most or all known (or likely) variables are already factored into the price (and trading history) of a security.

Finally, REMX is trading just off multi-year lows so the R/R (from a multi-month holding perspective) is probably skewed to the upside but again, no breakout, no buy signal…just another untriggered setup.
