Maybe soon but not as of yet. There are many components of IYR on the verge of breaking down but they haven’t done so yet nor has the broad market (SPX) triggered any sell signals. As one of the 11 sectors within the SPX, it would help a case for an IYR short/SRS long if the broad market would roll over although that certainly isn’t an absolute necessity for a correction in the REITs. Also, note that SRS has yet to break out above that bullish falling wedge pattern on the daily chart. Close, but no buy signal yet.
