In reply to jumpingbean. Earnings from several of the top-weighted components of QQQ on Wed & Thursday after the close this week will almost certainly cause the market to react one way or the other. I would just caution anyone from reading too much into the initial knee-jerk reaction immediately following the earnings release.

In reply to weatherman. Best of luck on the trade & keep in mind that we'll probably get some fireworks later this week after the big QQQ stocks report. That could go either way or very sharp back & forth swings in both directions so best to keep that in mind with position sizing until we get past this big earnings hump.

Thanks Randy for the timely update. And as a matter of fact I was watching QQQ against your earlier chart and notes, and entered a short once I saw it heading back up against that resistance level again, shorted (more) at $172.30 here just before your update. Good stuff!
