In reply to <a href="https://rightsideofthechart.com/qqq-spy-approaching-resistance-2/#comment-6141">Alabama</a>.

Apologies for the late reply Shelby. I often miss questions & comments when market volatility spikes & the number of questions surge at the same time my time spent analyzing the fast developing charts also increases & spending some time over the weekend to catch up.

TC2000, at least the version that I am running, does not provide charts on futures. I un multiple charting platforms, some of which do, such as Interactive Brokers' Trader Workstation, Ameritrade's Thinkorswim platform and Investing.com, which provides free real-time quotes & charts on various index & commodities futures (create a free account there & you can save your chart annotations, watchlists, etc.)

I like to track the index futures in addition to the index-tracking ETFs, such as QQQ, SPY & IWM, not only because I trade both futures & ETFs but also because the futures often help to paint a more complete picture of how the indexes have been trading around the clock, not just when during the 9:30-4pm regular trading session. Quite often, I am able to pick up on some important technical developments on the index futures that might not be so apparent on the index ETFs or indexes themselves, such as trendlines or horizontal price support & resistance levels forming, divergences forming, etc.

It's sorta like the "two sets of eyes are better than one" thing. Although not a perfect analogy, hopefully, that makes sense.
