In reply to Jeff Vandenburgh.

I totally get your thoughts! I spent more than 8 hours a day in front of the computer reading the charts, testing the best possible strategies, listening to every news on CNBC, getting up to date with all the youtube videos of the one I follow and even in twitter.

Hate to say this but I'm also on negative side here! I was thinking of a strategy where I will take only one trade a week when there is solid divergence on SPY, QQQ and IWM and target is to make only 2% every week on TQQQ or SQQQ. So far the strategy looks solid but the hard part is where to put the Stop Loss.

Surely I will recommend not to give up and that's my mentality too. Just so that you know I quit my full time job to be a full time trader and my wife has been a very supportive of that. Time will come for us too when we will start making consistent profit!!!

Decent reaction on MU’s earnings. Looks like there will be another shorting opportunity in SOX and QQQ at even higher prices soon. But I’m finding it difficult to remain short stocks: consumer confidence and solid employment numbers show that the economy is strong, and at the same time the bond market has signaled a Fed pivot. So the Fed is easing while the economy remains strong. Therefore, the easy money should be to the upside. But I like the bearish videos and the idea that the bear market is not over. I’d hate to think that I’ve missed another bull market or that I’m on the wrong side of the trade. So I have a bunch of short trades on and my tiny account is down 30% this year and we’re only in Q1. I don’t think I can hold onto these short positions much longer. I’ve blown out my account during every bull market by remaining bearish for too long. The easy money is to the upside. The longterm trend is always up. I wish I would have just dollar-cost averaged into stocks when we had that bear market last year. I’m getting too old to throw away my hard earned money like this anymore.
