Or maybe a chart. Been following for a while. I know they have a ton of cash on hand maybe rumors of them acquiring a competitor that had some legal issues.

The sell signal on QQQ today was the first sell signal on QQQ in weeks. I think the last sell signal was when QQQ broke down below the 200-day MA’s & then the bottom of the multi-month trading range.

Since then, I did highlight an objective re-shorting zone & profit target for a (long) bounce trade off T2 on the QQQ daily chart but those were bounces to resistance, not sell signals (the former being an objective shorting opp but not a sell signal, the latter being both).

The plan on QQQ was to re-short from the bottom of the trend range but not above the downtrend line and/or the 200-day MA’s that intersected it, with a “no-go” or ‘sit tight” zone from there up to the mid-point of the trading range & then a scale-out or hard stop out (depending on one’s preference) one QQQ moved back above the mid-point (upper half) of the trading range (above 615ish).

I’ll cover that, and more, in a video tomorrow morning, but today’s sell signal is the first in weeks & QQQ closed about where that breakdown/sell signal occurred today, so flat, so far.

I will do a video in the morning. Was planning on doing one today, but the market was flat & slow, so I took the afternoon off, drove my wife to the airport & took care of a few errands.

Nothing much worth sharing today other than the breakdown below that minor uptrend line in QQQ earlier today, but I got that post out when it happened. I also just fired off another post on the BYND long trade, which hit T1 in the regular session today & since took it out in the AH session, getting close to T2.

Yes, I’m going to try to get it. I had planned to cover it in a video today but decided to take the afternoon off & will either post a chart with the setup for CAR or cover it in a video tomorrow. Just like the recent short on silver immediately before it crashed, you don’t see parabolic uptrends & blow off tops very often, but when you do, they make great shorting opps, when the time is right.

The one thing that might make this one tough is that I glanced a headline (but haven’t had time to read the article yet) that only 2 shareholders control all the shares of CAR. If that is the case & wasn’t some BS click-bait headline, then those controllers of the stock will almost certainly be smart enough not to allow the shares to be rehypothecated (available to be lent out for short-selling), although on the other hand, I saw a headline about this being a short-squeeze so I need to do a little DD on that first.
