Of course, the economy is likely to tank, but that will more likely be the fault of the US excess and madness – creating another world-wide financial crisis all over again – rather than Brexit…

Well if you decide to bet against it, a breakdown below this 60m bearish rising wedge in IWM should take it back to at least the 152.13ish support & quite likely the 151 area.

This little mini rally just seems a little too convenient to me brexit deal headlines china headlines, vix pushing on support; call me skeptical but I don’t buy it (no pun intended).

I wouldn’t be surprised if that is the case. The market tends to grind around leading up to potential market-moving events such as a big FOMC rate decision or, in this case, 3 of the top components in both the Nasdaq 100 and the S&P 500 reporting later this week. As such, I’d put decent odds that a good part of today’s gains in will be faded from here.
