With the DJIA appearing the most stretched, I’ve shorted via the micro-futures /MYM, while also buying some bullish call spreads in DIA and SPY to hedge the possibility of more upside.

The successful test & defense of the key 268 support in QQQ in the AH session yesterday certainly a factor as are the bullish divergences that were put in place on the recent lows on all the key time frames (60-min, daily, & weekly). However, I just posted what I think is a very objective short entry on the broad market ($SPX) although if that pans out, it will almost certainly take the $NDX down with it). Today’s rally is almost certainly being driven in large part by a short-covering rally from traders that shorted the bad FAAMG earnings on the first 4 (AAPL was the last to report & beat expectations, unlike the others).

So far, this year was good while October being the worst month so far!
