IB did have them up until this afternoon as I had added to a short position earlier today that I recently started scaling into. Dark green barred now which means they might be able to locate shares to short but don’t currently have any. This means that I run the chance of having my position called in early & from my experience, they do that just before the big drop. I’ve always suspected that IB calls in the shares that the little guy (like me) is short to lend them out to their preferred customers (institutions, whales, etc..).
Oh well, maybe a short-squeeze in order first. If so, you might be able to short this bubble soon at a more favorable price.
