Yep, I’ve been at this game for decades. When volatility gets high enough (we’re still at the lower-end of the range but that can change VERY fast), many brokers & even the exchanges will increase margin requirements to reduce their risk, thereby exacerbating selling WHEN (i.e.- not always) margin debt is at an extreme, as it is now, due to triggering additional margin calls…which leads to more selling…which leads to more margin calls….

NVDA remained & parked just above that 179 support I’m waiting to see go so can’t really say it’s been slain, just yet, IMO. However, it remains below the bearish engulfing candlestick it printed 2 weeks ago on the weekly chart so definitely the potential that it has peaked, especially if 179 goes with conviction soon.

I don’t use the 2x & 3x leveraged ETF for charting purposes due to the decay from the leverage (which distorts the charts), rather I’ll use the +1x non-leverage sector ETF, even if trading the leveraged versions. I covered SOXX in at least one of the videos today… Basically, all recent sell signals still very much intact but would like to see a few more of the big semis clearly lose their 50-day EMAs to seal the deal.
