Agreed. I&#039;ve been highlighting the financials frequently in recent videos, stating that as long as they hold up, the stock market will most likely as well. XLF hit &amp; successfully defending that confluence of support I recently highlighted (200-day SMA &amp; &lt;abbr class=&#039;c2c-text-hover&#039; title=&#039;An exponential moving average (EMA) is a type of moving average that is similar to a simple moving average, except that more weight is given to the latest data. This type of moving average reacts faster to recent price changes than a simple moving average. (source: investopedia.com)&#039;&gt;EMA&lt;/abbr&gt; plus the 51.32 key price support. If/when that goes, the market will likely go with it. Until then, financials (#2 $SPX sector) continue to hold above key support &amp; exhibit relative strength as tech (#1 $SPX sector) wobbles.]]></description>

I threw out CMSCA as a trade idea recently, but it just can&#039;t seem to catch a bid to save its life lately. It did, however, break out above the &lt;abbr class=&#039;c2c-text-hover&#039; title=&#039;A downtrend occurs when a security or index is making a series of lower lows &#038; lower highs.&#039;&gt;downtrend&lt;/abbr&gt; line yesterday, but best to see it clearly take out that R1 resistance level &amp; the top of the gap that&#039;s just above it (and even better if the broad market is holding up at that time). Here&#039;s my daily chart.]]></description>
